I’m Emma, the owner and founder of The Horsey HR Lady. With over 20 years of experience in HR across various sectors, I’ve progressed from HR Administrator to Head of HR, giving me a deep understanding of the HR landscape.

The name “The Horsey HR Lady” originated as a tagline inspired by my passion for both HR and horses. Since a young age, I have loved horses and began riding at the age of 9. I would often visit the local Riding for the Disabled Centre near my school, which fueled my love for horses. Over the years, I rode at various riding schools before becoming a horse owner in 2015. My lovely mare, Cherry, was a significant part of my life until her passing in 2021. Similarly, my passion for HR began in university and has continued to grow. I hold an HND in Business & Personnel, a BA (Hons) in Business Administration, a Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management, and a Postgraduate Diploma in People Analytics. Additionally, I am a solutions partner with Harrison Assessments and an implementation partner with Edligo, underpinning my expertise in delivering exceptional HR solutions.
